Minami, Osaka—a city of cherished memories where he once visited alongside his beloved master. Having been touched by the warm smiles and kindness of the people there, a single cat held onto a strong, unwavering wish even after his master departed for a distant world: "I want to give back to the people of this city."

As long years passed, he transformed into a two-tailed Bakeneko (phantom cat). In the rift between the living and the underworld (Yomiji), he encountered a mysterious ark named "Kanaloa," which ferries lost souls.

"A brief moment of salvation for those weary of the modern bustle, wandering the city at night..."

He summoned this ark to the present world of Dotonbori and clad himself in a tuxedo. Tonight, as always, gazing out over the dark river with glowing purple eyes, he continues to offer the "ultimate hospitality" to every guest who boards his ark.
